Inner Healing

Out of suffering have emerged the strongest of souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars.

Healing the Inner YOU

Life throws at us many challenges. Sometimes we have had a difficult childhood, and sometimes we have endured situations that caused us distress and anguish. Sadly sometimes we may experience trauma that leaves us struggling to understand difficult feelings and emotions. Often we find life doesn’t always go as we had planned, leaving us feeling frustrated.

It maybe be that we have experienced a difficult pregnancy journey or birth. Maybe we have sadly lost a baby. Especially when we have a family of our own do we reflect on our own childhood and experiences, sometimes bringing up difficult emotions.

Maybe we have health issues or conflicts in our relationships. We may be struggling with a loss of identity or feelings of low self-worth or confidence. Or we can find that anxiety or feeling low is a daily companion.

We all search for happiness in life. We may do this by gaining material things, position and status, or other things that bring some feelings of joy, but often this can be temporary.

For others struggling in life can cause them to pursue things that may cause harm to them or others. There is a saying that ‘hurt people, hurt people’ and sadly this can be true. Frustration can turn to anger, causing pain to oneself or others.

Finding true happiness includes our inner healing. We all carry things that can hold us back, cause us to doubt our abilities, struggle to build happy, healthy families and relationships, or live the life we want.

The secret to true happiness however is something we can all find.
How?
By understanding that it lies within us.

Many have never had the safe space to even share their experiences or feelings, to be heard and understood. I found this to be true for me. I struggled for many years with things that I carried, that weighed me down and made me doubt who I was. My inner voice was in turmoil and even more than that I didn’t know how to listen to it.

Inner healing is not an easy road to travel but definitely worth the effort. It is a road I have travelled for a long time.

Healing begins with believing that you deserve to find happiness.

That you have the right to be heard and understood.

That your wish for more peace and contentment is possible.

A safe place to be heard is so important to help you see that your past does not define you or your future. That inner healing is possible.
